Well this is neat!

Let's see how long it lasts...

Tomorrow is my last day at CVS, and I am extremely excited. I start orientation at the hospital Monday, continue through Wednesday, and then start working in the pharmacy there. Even though I've been at CVS for almost 5 years now, this new job feels more "real". As in, I'm going to be working 40 hours, I'm getting insurance, vacation, PTO, the works. At CVS, I was only getting about 15 hours a week, and getting paid a measly wage for a pharmacy tech. That was the main reason I wanted to leave. I felt like CVS was WAY underpaying me, not just in comparison to other retail pharmacies but also to my coworkers. When I put in my two weeks, I was told I could get the pay the hospital is offering matched, but I've heard how that works. They match the pay but in return you don't get a raise for a year. No thanks. I'm most excited about my scrubs. I think I look cute in them. I might post a picture on my first day. Instead, here is a picture of Charlie the Unicorn and I as I type this.

Goodnight
